The DVDs featured not only cover Karate and Self-protection, but
also a wide range of other martial arts and related subjects. This
is in-keeping with our view that it is important for all martial
artists to have as wide a skill base as is possible and to learn
from one another.

and new martial artists will be added all the time so be sure to

Geoff
Thompson DVDs
Geoff
Thompson made violence his profession working as a doorman at some
of Britain's roughest clubs. As the holder of the rank of 6th Dan
black belt in Japanese karate, 1st Dan in Judo and equally well
qualified in other martial arts; he is a TOUGH man. In 1997 Geoff
was flown out to the United States by Chuck Norris to teach at his
international seminar. As an ambassador for the martial arts, Geoff
has appeared on national and international TV and Radio - for a
couple of years as the BBC Good Morning self defence expert - talking
about and, giving advice on self protection and related subjects.
His work is both innovative and thought provoking. He is currently
Sub Editor of Martial Arts Illustrated and contributory editor of
Men's Fitness magazine. He has published several articles for mainstream
glossy magazines such as Loaded, Maxim, FHM, Arena, Esquire and
has published several articles with GQ Magazine (Britain-Paris).

Rick Young
DVDs
Rick
Young has been studying martial arts since 1975. Beginning his training
under Shaun Shanley Rick then began to study Wado Ryu Karate along
with Western boxing and grappling. In 1979, when he was seventeen,
Rick first met and became a student of the legendry Dan Inosanto.
In 1984 Rick travelled to Los Angeles California to train with Guro
Inosanto and other prominent martial artists. Since then Rick has
travelled to the Inosanto Academy at least once but usually twice
a year. In 1995 (The certificates were backdated to 1993) Rick was
awarded his full instructorship By Sifu Inosanto in Jeet Kune Do
and the Filipino martial arts. This made him the first person outside
of the USA to be given this honour.
Some of the countries Rick
has trained and taught at include Australia, the USA, Brazil, Japan,
Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Ireland and all over the United Kingdom.
He has been featured in numerous martial arts publications including
Martial Arts Illustrated, Combat, Grappling, Fighters and Fighting
Arts International. Rick trains and teaches in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Shihan
Chris Rowen DVDs
Shihan
Chris Rowen, sixth dan, has a karate lineage which can be traced
directly back to the fifteenth century. He has the honour and privilege
of being one of the few westerners to be awarded a teaching certificate
directly from the late legendary Grandmaster Yamaguchi Gogen, tenth
dan in GojuRyu karate-do, having spent years studying at the
Hombu Dojo in Japan . His studies led him to Okinawa where he studied
Kobudo under the late master Akamine Etsuke and he is now in his
fourth decade of martial arts training and teaching.
Shihan Rowen is the chief
instructor of the Bunbukan Institute of Classical Japanese Budo
Culture, which has branches around the world including England,
Mauritius, France, Germany, Wales and America .
A highly regarded and sought-after
instructor, Shihan Rowen is also a columnist whose work has featured
in both the national and international press, and he has acted as
a consultant on television, film and radio.

Alan Gibson
DVDs
Alan
Gibson has studied martial arts for many years attaining a Black
Sash in Wing Chun in 1986. For the past 12 years he has been teaching
Kung Fu and has also taught Women's Self Defence for Southampton
Dept. of Adult Education. During this time he has frequently travelled
to Hong Kong in order to train with Grand-master Ip Chun and other
Wing Chun masters.
The Wing Chun Federation and its teachers are registered with the
Yip Man Martial Arts Association in Hong Kong, and its teachers
are personally endorsed by Grandmaster Ip Chun. Alan has also attained
a degree in sports studies in order to further his understanding
of the bio mechanical and psychological aspects of the art.

Darren
Westwood as spent 20 years studying Karate. In addition he has also
studied Ju-Jutsu and Chinese Gong-Fu. Along with Andy Paskin, he
is the author of "Bushi-Justu: The Science of the Warrior".
